Taipei Day 3 - Getting up Taipei 101

iThe grand shopping arena at the lobby of the superstructure. Comparable standards to the Petronas Twin Towers in Malaysia.

Our entrance pass...
They provide personal walking tours, in the most intimate sense. I wonder if Petronas provides the same. You can get English, Mandarin, Japanese and a host of other languages to visitors.
The pride of Toshiba. Imaging riding a lift that travels 1.01km per minute! And yet we didn't feel any movement like the normal lifts in buildings. Only thing is the discomfort in the ears due to the sudden change in altitude. We got from ground to 89th floor in 36 seconds.
A quick ride, and a couple of stairs...
Tadaaa.... at the highest accssible point of Taipei 101!
