Taipei Day 4 - The world's most honest cabby

This event took place as we were leaving Yangmingshan Park. We needed to get to the Beitou Hot Spring which would hours by public bus. Having opted to take the cab, we had a really interesting experience with this cab driver.

First off, he was very friendly. After knowing we're from Malaysia, he was telling us about the nice and cheap fruits to be found in Taiwan, and even went to the extent of stopping by a roadside stall for us to sample the fruits.

Even though the fruit in mind was the Taiwanese mandarin orange, we nonetheless humoured him by buying some.

Mr Cabby even showed us how to peel the fruit properly.... hahahaaa..
But the interesting experience is after we alight from the cab when we reached the Beitou Hot Spring. We got the rooms for the soaking and as we were about to jump in, my sis asked if we had seen her camera.....
"No, don't think so. You didn't pass me the camera. Last I saw it was when you were taking pics at the park."
"We can't find it in the bag either. Let's try the cab. He gave us his card."

And they called. Mr Cabby was driving round the mountaineous road, and told us call back in 10 minutes. He'll need to pull over and check the cab. And he did. And he told us he found the camera at the side ledge between the door and the passenger seat. The best part, Mr Cabby drove all the way from the bottom of the hill back up to return the cab.
Honesty. Think there's many of them around?
