Suntory...

I've only known of Suntory as the whiskey. So this...

TEA!

Taipei Day 6 - Walking bout town

Kimchi, found at City Super. A well known supermart found in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Wish we had something as good here...

This is a bakery found at Breeze Centre in downtown Taipei. Its famed for amazing breads and pastry. A little expensive, but worth every bite.

Russian ice cream, of texture and quality far better than what I had all my life. Buds? Gelatomio? Haagen Daaz? Its all over-rated marketing. Until you taste what the world had to offer...

This is to be expected at Breeze Centre. LV, Bvlgari, Burberry...

Taipei Day 6 - Muzha Zoo

Muzha zoo, Taipei is presently the largest zoo in Asia. Obviously a visit here is a must. I will not bore you with pictures of all the habitants, save a few stars.
"My armpit hairy enough for you? Take a good whiff!"

"Regal. The king of the jungle. A most apt title"

"Oohhhh, my head.... I knew I shouldn't have ram the tree"

"I wonder what's for dinner?"

"Say cheese..."

They're the highlight of the zoo. A pair of Panda from China, bilateral relations gift.

Isn't this the dream job/life? Eat, Sleep, Digest, Mate.... and repeat it all over again.

Do you know pandas have 6 toes?

We're all the same, rite?

Taipei Day 4 - Shilin Street Market

This is the highlight of the whole trip. The much hyped, must-go place in Taipei. You've not been to Taipei if you don't visit Shilin street after dusk.

Oh! Hot hot hot!!!
The glutton in us took over all sense of self. Each of us queue at a stall, and once the food was paid, we converged at the last in line and started chomping away. It was one bite, pass, one bite, pass, one bite, pass.... that so on with the 4 different snacks. All the while I was still in line for food.
And we had Taipeinese eyes bulging out from this ghastly display of "sua ku-ness". Tourist!
