Indifference

I've not been blogging actively for sometime now, since getting back from Vietnam. I'd reckon in many ways its from the feeling of indifference I'm feeling right now.

I've a job to do, though not by choice. Probably more out of need to do something useful. I cherish the active tasks, moving about, trouble shooting and getting things done. But I'm sick of dealing with people who's not putting in the real efforts to correct the wrong.

Enough of covering arses.

After 8 years in a service industry, I've learnt a valuable lesson that binds us all in such business. It's the people that makes the difference. The day we forgot about motivating our people, is the day service quality drops. Not to mention the fact of need to hire the right people that cares about their job.

Sigh, I'm done.

Money No Enough 2

Kudos to our neighbours down south, for driving home a clear message. Whilst not subtle, it certainly drew laughter and tears from audiences.

I'd recommend this to any bored souls on a quiet night. Go catch the movie and get a reality dose to what we face. Afterall, they're not that different from what we are.

English Ham

My contribution - the mustard sauce, lightly boiled into a thick broth of milky mustard with pepper seeds.

Hai Peng Kopitiam, Kemaman

This is a well known establishment, which serves a home-made and brewed coffee.

Local delicacies, available only for breakfast and quickly sold out to the morning crowd.

Glutinous rice, coconut shavings and a slice of fish. This is not a commonly seen breakfast on the western front.

Buns and toasts, richly buttered and a generous spread of "kaya" (eggs, sugar and coconut milk).

Mini puff, filled with fish bits.

That's the posters and old grandfather clocks in the establishment.
